Accent Modification

As business becomes increasingly more global, there’s a greater need for executives who speak other languages to communicate with their colleagues in English.  It can be frustrating when you’re fluent in your understanding of the language but your accent doesn’t reflect your skill.

Having an accent is nothing more than a byproduct of bringing rules from one language to another where those rules don’t apply.  Accent modification is a fairly straightforward process of identifying your non-standard English sounds and training yourself to make them in a more appropriate way.

You'll start by making an evaluation recording, following the easy guidelines I send you.  This can be done at your convenience, using a computer, phone, or tablet.
Using your evaluation recording, I will create a detailed assessment of the areas that will have the greatest impact on the way you speak English. 

After one session, you’ll have a clear idea of what you need to work on and an action plan to follow to accomplish your goal.  In our future sessions we’ll use practice drills, audio exercises and video clips to transform your problem areas into a relaxed and clear English language accent.
